MINSK, 29 January (BelTA) – The 2024 Winter Queen Cup international rhythmic gymnastics tournament took place in Platja de Aro, Spain, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian team comprised Olympic bronze medalist Alina Harnasko, world championship medalist Anastasiia Salos, and junior Nicole Liauta. As a year ago, Alina Harnasko become the absolute winner of this year’s edition, earning 139.484 points in the All-Around event, and receiving the highest points in all individual finals. Anastasiia Salos placed second according to the results of all five events.
In the junior events Nicole Liauta won in the Ball, Hoop, Clubs and Ribbon routines as well as the All-Around.
The 2024 Winter Queen Cup featured 570 athletes from Belarus, Spain, Andorra, Belgium, Greece, France, the UK, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, and the United Arab Emirates.
