MINSK, 4 September (BelTA) – The Days of Belarusian Culture will be held in Georgia in November 2017, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei said after the talks with Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Mikheil Janelidze, BelTA has learned.
"Cooperation in the humanitarian field has intensified: the cultural institutions have bolstered ties, theaters and museums have started to exchange projects. The Days of Belarusian Culture in Georgia will be held for the first time in the history of bilateral relations in November 2017," Vladimir Makei said. Next year Belarus is expecting Georgian partners with their cultural program.
Mikheil Janelidze said that Georgia welcomes the Days of Belarusian Culture. According to him, this event will provide further proof of strengthening relations between the two countries.
"Cordial relationship between our countries grows stronger every day. I believe that close contacts between the peoples of Georgia and Belarus will help us harness the potential of cooperation," he said.
