MINSK, 27 August (BelTA) - Behind the scenes of the fashion and film industries will be in the focus of the exhibition by the famous French photographer Andre Perlstein to be held in Minsk on 24 September - 8 October, BelTA learned from the French Embassy in Belarus.
The exhibition will feature the photographs of great actors and directors such as Alain Delon, Jean-Pierre Melville, Isabelle Adjani and other French celerities. It will also display the portraits of Charlie Chaplin and Miles Davis.
The exhibition will be running as part of the Month of Photography in Minsk. The event in the Falcon Club Cinema Boutique will include 28 40x60cm photographs and also 70x110cm photographs. This exhibition will be showing black and white photos that represent a small slice of Andre Perlstein's career. The photos show a palette of characters, personalities, places and situations. For example, there will be the pictures with Yves Saint Laurent showing the preparation for the catwalk show and the work of models.
On 25 September Andre Perlstein will take questions during a conference in the French Multimedia Library. He will hold a tour of the exhibition “Cinema of 1970s and not only” in the Falcon Club Cinema Boutique. On the same day the Raketa cinema house will screen the movie Le Cercle Rouge (1970, directed by Jean-Pierre Melville).
Andre Perlstein made his first steps as an independent photographer in the Le point magazine.
