PYEONGCHANG, 20 February (BelTA) – France won the 2x6km Women + 2x7.5km Men Mixed Relay at the 2018 Olympic Games in PyeongChang on 20 February. Belarus finished 5th, BelTA informs.
Starting Nadezhda Skardino cleaned both prone and standing to tag Darya Domracheva in eighth. The three-time Sochi Olympic champion, also shooting clean, gradually narrowed the gap to move up to the third position, 30 seconds behind the leader.
Sergei Bocharnikov was fast on track, but used two spare rounds to tag in fifth. Vladimir Chepelin held this position to the finish line.
Norway finished second, with Italy coming in third.
Darya Domracheva clinched silver in the Women’s Mass Start in PyeongChang.
