MINSK, 23 September (BelTA) – The first Minsk Electro 2021 rally will begin in the mobile vehicles testing area of the Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on 25 September, the academy’s press service told BelTA.
An exhibition of electric vehicles and components made by Belarusian companies will also be held as part of the rally. Visitors and guests will be able to take a ride on personal mobility solutions. The Belarusian companies MAZ, Belkommunmash, BelGee, Optron, and Vityas are expected to present their R&D products in the area of electric transport.
Powertrain components for Belarusian electric vehicles will be showcased by Mogilevliftmash, Izmeritel, and the Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering. The Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering is Belarus’ leading R&D center in the area of electric transport.
The Accident-Free Driving School will allow visitors to check their driving skills in a Drift Car simulator.
The electric vehicles rally has been organized by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Transport Ministry, the Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering, the Belarusian Automobile Federation, and the Accident-Free Driving School.
