MINSK, 13 August (BelTA) – The 22nd Minsk International Film Festival Listapad will be held from 6 through 13 November 2015 under the slogan Eye of Pleasure, BelTA learned from the organizers of the festival.

“In the best movies, the main meanings are contained not in the words of the characters, but rather in the arrangement of the scenes, colors and shades, and film editing techniques. The real pleasure is the ability to see a movie, to unravel its secrets through artistic nuances and to enjoy the punctuation and the syntax of the movie that create its melody,” director of the Listapad fiction film programs Igor Sukmanov explained the concept of the 2015 edition of the festival.

Every year the festival presents a new concept that is visually expressed in a poster. Artist Alexander Kamenets has been designing Listapad posters for several years already.

The organizers noted that the bright blue color of the 2015 poster symbolizes the color of the screen, the sky, and the cosmic space. The rows of twos produce a hypnotic illusion of movement and a stereoscopic effect.

The programs of the annual film festival feature movies by already famous authors and fashionable young directors. The slogan of the 21st edition of Listapad was ‘What a variety of movies!’

The Listapad festival is organized by the center of visual and performing arts ART Corporation. It was founded by the Belarusian Culture Ministry and the Minsk City Hall with the participation of the Belarusian TV and Radio Company, the national film studio Belarusfilm, and the Belarusian Union of Cinematographers.
