MINSK, 26 May (BelTA) – Specialists from nine countries will gather in Minsk to discuss human migration statistics, BelTA learnt from the National Statistics Committee.
The seminar on population movement statistics will be held in the Belarusian capital on 28-29 May as part of the Conference of European Statisticians. Partaking in the seminar will be representatives of the UNECE Statistical Division, the CIS Interstate Statistical Committee, the International Organization for Migration, the European Statistical System, the national statistics services of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The seminar is organized by the UNECE in cooperation with the CIS Interstate Statistical Committee, the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation.
