MINSK, 4 October (BelTA) – The photo exhibition "To Be the Champion: The Story of Great Victories" has opened at the UN headquarters in New York. The exposition is dedicated to the Belarusian sport and the country’s contribution to the international Olympic movement, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Taking part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition was Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei.

The exhibition was arranged in the run-up to the 2nd European Games that will take place in Minsk in 2019. Thus, the event gave start to a large-scale international promotion campaign of this event.
