MINSK, 9 March (BelTA) – Maksim Nedasekau of Belarus has won the High Jump Men gold at the 2021 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Poland, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian won the event with his best attempt of 2.37m. This is the athlete’s personal as well as national record in the discipline. Thanks to this achievement Maksim Nedasekau has moved to the top of the world chart.
Silver went to Italy’s Gianmarco Tamberi with his attempt of 2.35m. Bronze was collected by Belgium’s Thomas Carmoy (2.26m)
Earlier, Iryna Zhuk claimed bronze in the Pole Vault Women.
