MINSK, 20 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian Sports and Tourism Ministry and the TV channel Euronews have prepared videos about Belarus’ tourism potential, BelTA has learned.
The relevant contract was signed by Belarusian Sports and Tourism Minister Sergei Kovalchuk and Euronews International Sales Director Kjell Stein in Minsk on 20 November. The contract provides for broadcasting five videos about the country’s tourism potential. The videos have been created upon orders of the National Tourism Agency of Belarus. Euronews audience will be able to see them during the last week in November and for the first two weeks in December 2018.
Sergei Kovalchuk said: “It is the first time we’ve signed a contract with such a large TV company, which may tell over 400 TV viewers about Belarus. I hope this agreement will become the first step in establishing large-scale information cooperation between Euronews and Belarus.”
The ministry expects constructive cooperation with the top television broadcasters in Europe to have a considerable effect on promoting Belarus’ tourism potential across the globe.
