MINSK, 19 August (BelTA) – The international exhibition Eurasian Potato will take place at premises of the farming enterprise Sula in Stolbtsy District, Minsk Oblast on 20-21 August, representatives of the exhibition’s organizing committee told BelTA.

Visitors of the exhibition will be able to see a demonstration field with the latest potato varieties. The exhibition will feature methods used to cultivate and harvest potato, machines and equipment used for growing, storing, and primary processing of potatoes, protection agents, packaging materials and equipment, ventilation and air conditioning solutions for storage facilities, trade logistics and many other things.

Visitors will be treated to the full overview of potato varieties of Belarusian, Russian, German, and Dutch selection in addition to the opportunity to taste these varieties.

The exhibition will be held with assistance of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry, the Belarusian Industry Ministry, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Minsk Oblast administration as well as the monthly magazines Belarusian Agriculture and Our Agriculture.
