MINSK, 10 September (BelTA) – Belarus’ Elvira Herman decided to start slightly later due to a false start to finish third in 12.92 in the women’s 100m Hurdles at the Match Europe v USA in Minsk on 10 September, BelTA has learned.
Sharika Nelvis of the United States took the women's 100m hurdles in 12.80. Second was Poland’s Karolina Koleczek (12.86).
Yuliya Levchenko of Ukraine cleared 2.02m in the high jump to highlight the second day of The Match. Another Ukrainian jumper, Iryna Herashchenko, placed second with 1.98m. Mariya Lasitskene of Russia finished third with the same result, 1.98m. Belarus’ Karyna Demidik cleared 1.87m to place 6th.
