MINSK, 2 November (BelTA) – Belarusian biathlete Darya Domracheva will make part of Team Visa for the Winter Olympic Games PyeongChang 2018, BelTA learned from the organizers of the project.
Darya Domracheva is joining Team Visa in PyeongChang, which comprises more than 40 athletes from 13 countries.
“The preparations for and participation in the Winter Olympic Games require a great amount of resources. I can say with confidence that support is never too much. With the support from my fans, my family, the team and now Team Visa, I will try to show my best at the 2018 Olympics Games in PyeongChang,” said Darya Domracheva.
A global Olympic partner for more than 30 years and Paralympic partner since 2003, Visa founded its Team Visa program in 2000, with the aim of providing athletes with the tools, resources and support they need to achieve their lifelong dreams, both on and off the field of competition, regardless of their origin or background. The choice of members to Team Visa is based on such criteria as the athletes’ personal road to the Olympic and Paralympic Games, sport achievements and involvement in the social life of the country. The team has already united more than 300 talented participants.
Darya Domracheva is the third athlete of the Belarusian Olympic team in Team Visa. Visa earlier sponsored Aleksei Grishin and Aleksandra Gerasimenya in their preparations for the Olympic Games.
