MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) – Daria Domracheva and Ole Einar Bjoerndalen will participate in the Christmas race in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, the Belarusian athlete posted on her social media account, BelTA has learned.

“Happy to announce our participation in Schalke this year! We are looking forward to meeting the amazing crowd of biathlon fans there and looking so forward to competing on the great arena!” Daria Domracheva said.

The biathlon Christmas race will be held at the Veltins Arena of the Schalke 04 Bendesliga football club on 29 December. It is a popular commercial competition that has been held in the format of mixed relay competition since 2002. The race is held two stages. The first one is a relay race and the second one is a pursuit race.
