MINSK, 12 February (BelTA) – BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 8 started with the women’s 15km Individual in Holmenkollen, Norway on 12 February, BelTA has learned.
Belarus number one Darya Domracheva was second to cross the finish line clocking 45:13.1 with one penalty.
Finnish Kaisa Makarainen won the race in 43:54.8 with no penalties. Third was Czech Veronika Vitkova, 1:20.9 back (no penalties).
As for Domracheva’s teammates, Nadezhda Skardino was 16th, 4:40.9 back with one penalty, Anastasia Duborezova finished 44th, 7:32.6 back, four penalties, Irina Krivko came in 54th, 8:56 back, five penalty loops.
In the IBU World Cup overall standings Darya Domracheva is still 2nd with 777 points. Kaisa Makarainen of Finland leads the table with 810 points. Ukraine’s Valentina Semerenko with 579 points was moved from the third position by Czech Veronika Vitkova (600). Nadezhda Skardino goes 12th (371), Nadezhda Pisareva 41st (122), Irina Krivko 53rd (71), Anastasia Duborezova 55th (51).
