CHISINAU, 3 October (BelTA) – Plans have been made to hold Days of Moldovan Culture in Belarus in 2017, Belarusian Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov told reporters summing up the results of his official visit to Moldova, BelTA has learned.
“During the visit, we noted that Belarus and Moldova have developed strong ties in humanitarian affairs. Yesterday’s opening of the Belarusian culture center in Chisinau was another step in this direction. We plan to hold Days of Moldovan Culture in Belarus next year and erect a monument to Belarus’ first book printer Francysk Skaryna in Chisinau,” Andrei Kobyakov said.
He emphasized that Belarus and Moldova have a mutual desire to strengthen bilateral cooperation. “This is a kind of a guarantee that we will make maximum effort to develop cooperation at all levels,” the Prime Minister stressed.
