Darya Naumava wins European Weightlifting Championships bronze

MINSK, 9 April (BelTA) – Darya Naumava of Belarus clinched the women's 76kg bronze in the clean and jerk at the European Weightlifting Championships, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian scored 108kg in the snatch and 132 kg in the clean and jerk to combine a total of 240 kg.

Gold went to Ukraine’s Iryna Dekha for the total of 248kg (113kg+135kg). Second was Russia’s Yana Sotiyeva – 246kg (112kg+134kg). Russia’s Anastasiya Romanova placed third with the total of 243kg (111kg+132kg).

Belarus’ Ryna Litoshyk finished sixth with the total of 216kg (95kg+121kg).

The European Weightlifting Championships will be over on 11 April.
