VITEBSK, 17 August (BelTA) – Applications have been open for the participation in the Russian-Belarusian forum of modern art that will take place at the social and health improving center Goloyevka, Smolensk Oblast on 7-11 September, BelTA learned from Chairman of the Smolensk Oblast organization of the Russian Union of Youth Evgeny Zakharenkov.
The forum is part of the project named the Russian-Belarusian Festival of Modern Art “Towards the Stars”. The major goal of the forum is to support an popularize creativity among children and the youth of the two countries, create conditions for presenting and advancing creative projects of the rising generation and experimental areas in art. Delegations of no more than seven people aged 14-25, representing the regions of Russia and Belarus are invited to take part in the forum.
The event will feature a series of singing, choreography and acting master classes, training sessions and sports events, panel discussions and communication in the open country. “The forum will wrap up the project “Towards the Stars” where we will discuss the results and prospects of joint work in 2018,” said Evgeny Zakharenkov.
The Vitebsk Oblast committee of the BRSM Youth Union noted that a delegation of the oblast will take part in the forum.
