MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) – A silent drill army unit from China will take part in the Belarusian army parade in Minsk, BelTA learned from Vladimir Makarov, Head of the Information Office, Press Secretary of the Central Office for Ideology of the Belarusian Defense Ministry, on 26 June.
The press secretary said: “For the first time warriors of the People’s Liberation Army of China will join parade ranks on Belarus’ Independence Day. The parade unit will be represented by a silent drill company. It will include the best representatives of the armed forces of China.”
The Chinese troops have already arrived in Minsk and have started training together with Belarusian and Russian military.
On 3 September 2015 China celebrated on a large scale the 70th anniversary of the victory in the war of resistance against Japanese aggression. A Belarusian silent drill company took part in the army parade in Beijing for the first time then.
