MINSK, 27 July (BelTA) – Twenty-three masterpieces from the golden fund of the Chinese modern art will go on display in Minsk. The works were awarded at the 12^th National Art Exhibition of China, BelTA informs.

The expo will open at the National Library of Belarus on 31 July.

These artworks show a high level of excellence of Chinese artists and demonstrate the main development trends that took place in the art of China in the past five years, the National Library said.

The expo which will stay open through 10 August is aimed at the expansion of cooperation between the Belarusian Confederation of Creative Unions and the China Culture and Arts Association, creative unions of the two countries. The expo will also promote cultural cooperation at the interregional level.
