MINSK, 5 October (BelTA) – The dance company Vdokhnoveniye (Inspiration) of the National Center of Children's and Youth Art won high praise from the jury of an international contest in Serbia, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Serbia.
The young dancers represented Belarus at the 47th international festival of children’s art Joy of Europe in Belgrade. The performance of the Belarusian company won high praise from the organizers and guests of the festival. It was broadcast by Serbian media.
The Belarusian dancers, together with young Macedonian talents, were broadcast live on the TV channel RTS 1.
The festival that brought together children’s dance companies from 17 European countries and China was held from 2 through 5 October. The program of the festival featured art meetings, costume parties, concerts and competitions. On 4 October, the young dancers met with Serbia President Tomislav Nikolic.
On 5 October, the festival concluded with a gala concert broadcast on the national TV. The concert featured the Belarusian dance company, among others.
