MINSK, 21 March (BelTA) – The national air carrier Belavia will reduce the price for flights to Prague starting 22 March. The relevant information is posted on the company’s Facebook page, BelTA has learned.
“Tomorrow we will cut the price for flights to Prague. Starting from 22 March, a two-way trip to the Czech capital will cost €199 with a one-way ticket at €121,” the post reads.
The Belavia press service explained that previously, the fare was €242 round-trip (down by 17.8%) and €181 one-way (down by 33.5%). “It is too early to talk about price cuts for other destinations. However, the matter is under active consideration,” the company said.
Belavia is the largest air carrier in Belarus by the number of passengers and cargoes it transports. In January 2014 the Belarusian airline acquired a legal status of an open joint stock company. Belavia operates 27 aircraft. The company joined the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in 1997 and the European Regions Airline Association (ERAA) in 2010. In 2015 Belavia’s passenger traffic exceeded 2 million.
