MINSK, 7 August (BelTA) – The art exhibition Road to Jerusalem will open in the exhibition hall of the Russian Science and Culture Center in Minsk on 9 August, organizers of the event told BelTA.
“The exhibition will feature more than 40 works of artists from 25 cities of Central Russia,” the organizers noted. “The works depict landscapes, churches, monasteries, landmarks, and scenes from modern life. The exhibition will also include infographics with basic facts about the history of some cities featured in the project.”
The Road to Jerusalem exhibition was first put on in Russia’s Istra which is home to the New Jerusalem Monastery in March. It then traveled to Russia’s Mozhaysk, Gagarin, and Vyazma. In Belarus, the exhibition has already been on view in Vitebsk.
In early September, the exhibition will be held in Trakai Castle in Lithuania. It will then move on to other European cities and capitals of the Middle East countries. The exhibition is set to visit 100 cities in 54 countries. In mid 2022 the exhibition will arrive at the final destination of its three-year journey –Jerusalem.
The exhibition will run in Minsk till 30 August.
