Phil Esposito is a guest of honor in Minsk. He said he had been stunned by the attention the Belarus president pays to ice hockey, by the crowds the tournament had attracted, and by the attention young people pay to the game. Earlier that day Phil Esposito had taken part in an international seminar held by the Belarusian Ice Hockey Association for the teams participating in the 14^th international Christmas amateur ice hockey tournament in Minsk.
