MINSK, 20 February (BelTA) - Bulgarian Krasimir Anev became the first winner of the IBU Open European Championships which kicked off in Raubichi, BelTA has learned.
The Bulgarian athlete came in first in the Men 20km Individual clocking 53:18.1 and missing one target in four shooting bouts. Norwegian Tarjei Boe was second (+3.7; 3 penalties), bronze went to his compatriot Endre Stroemsheim (+11.1; 2).
Belarusian Roman Eletnov was 15th (+3:16.3; 1 +1 +1 +2), Sergei Bocharnikov 16th (+3:17.5; 0 +0 +4 +1). Vladimir Chepelin finished the race in the 48th position (+6:27.9; 2 +5 +0 +0), Nikita Lobastov was 49th (+6:29.6 ; 0 +2 +1 +2). Anton Smolsky came in 63rd (+8:17.2 ; 4 +2 +1 +1).
All in all, 101 athletes took part in the the Men 20km Individual at the IBU Open European Championships in Raubichi, Belarus.
