BREST, 26 March (BelTA) - The 3rd installment of the international arts festival Motley Tulip will take place in Brest on 23-25 May, BelTA learned from the organizers.
The forum will be held at the Brest Academic Drama Theater. This year the festival is dedicated to the stage art of the 20th century. The forum will feature music masterpieces, theater plays and ballet from Belarus, Russia, Poland, France and Japan.
The first day of the festival will showcase the works of the Polish, French and Russian composers of the previous century. The concert will feature representatives of the Mariinsky Theater and Mikhailovsky Theater of St. Petersburg, the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Belarus. Maestro Igor Olovnikov and his student Marina Kulov will give a concert for two pianos with an orchestra.
The second day will offer a premiere of the choreographic play Poplars and Wind by Russia’s Ballet.Theatre, the trio from Minsk “Show Drummers Stress”, and the play Frida by the Fabrica de Tabaco Theater from St Petersburg.
The forum is organized by the Brest Academic Drama Theater, GoodPower Company under the auspices of the Polish and French diplomatic missions in Brest.
