MOSCOW, 19 April (BelTA) – Belarus’ Brest has been declared the CIS Capital of Culture 2019, Executive Director of the CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund Anatoly Iksanov told a press conference on 19 April, BelTA has learned.
“Next year Brest will be the CIS Capital of Culture,” said Anatoly Iksanov as he presented the interstate project Great Victory Won Through Unity. “There will be a lot of projects dedicated to the first days of the war. We will surely support them,” he added.
The interstate project Great Victory Won Through Unity will be implemented in the CIS countries in 2018-2020.
