MINSK, 19 June (BelTA) – Moments of the Century photo exhibition dedicated to BelTA’s 100th anniversary is opening in Brest on 19 June. By the end of 2018 the exhibition will travel to all regional centers of the country and the capital city of Minsk.
BelTA’s exhibition includes 36 large-format photos (50x70cm) depicting the major milestones in the history of Belarus since 1918. Every time the exhibition will be supplemented by the unique archival photos about the history of every region of Belarus.
In Brest, the exhibition will feature the exclusive photographs of the Brest Fortress, the major historical events of the region, and also the pictures about the post-war Brest of 1944.
The photo exhibition in Brest is timed to the anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War. On the opening day the visitors will have the opportunity to share their impressions in the guestbook. BelTA’s photo exhibition in Brest will stay open till 24 June.
Vitebsk will host the Moments of the Century next. The exhibition will open for visitors on 10 July and will be running during the Slavianski Bazaar Festival.
