MINSK, 26 May (BelTA) – The state institution Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant will take part in the 8th international forum ATOMEXPO 2016 that will run in Moscow from 30 May to 1 June, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Energy Ministry.
“The 8th international forum ATOMEXPO 2016 will highlight the most important issues of the nuclear power industry. The forum will comprise an international exhibition and a congress featuring representatives of international, state and public organizations, Russian and foreign companies, leading experts in the nuclear power industry,” the Energy Ministry said.
The main theme of the first plenary session of the congress is Nuclear Energy as the Basis for Carbonless Power Balance. The second plenary session, entitled The Future of the Nuclear Energy. New Players, will be dedicated to the development of the global nuclear power industry and issues related to cooperation with the countries planning the development of their nuclear power sectors.
The exposition stand of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant will display video and photo materials telling about the history of the BelNPP construction project, and also the information on the progress made in 2015 and goals for 2016.
“An eventful business program of the 8th international forum ATOMEXPO 2016 will provide Russian and foreign participants with a unique opportunity to share professional knowledge and best practices, demonstrate new technological models and business solutions in nuclear power development,” the Energy Ministry said.
The annual international forum ATOMEXPO is organized by Rosatom State Corporation. In 2015 partaking in the business program of the forum were over 4,100 representatives from 47 countries. The event was covered by about 450 Russian and foreign journalists.
