MINSK, 22 July (BelTA) - The Belarusian Healthcare Ministry urges citizens to refrain from traveling to coronavirus unsafe regions. The Healthcare of published such information in its Telegram channel, BelTA learned.
“In connection with numerous requests from mass media we state that the information voiced by the CEC relate to persons who are currently under all kinds of medical supervision. This group includes COVID-19 patients (including those in hospital), first-level contacts (who are not sick but are self-isolating at home), second-level contacts and citizens returning from unsafe countries,” the ministry said.
The Healthcare Ministry once again urged against traveling outside Belarus to unsafe regions. “Since the start of the summer season, the number of people who need to be under medical supervision upon return has increased because they have visited countries that are still reporting many COVID-19 cases,” the ministry said.
