MINSK, 10 July (BelTA) - Belarusian Yekaterina Galkina won two golds at the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Challenge Cup Berlin 2017, BelTA has learned.
On the final day of the tournament Yekaterina Galina, one of the leaders of the Belarusian national team, came first in a ribbon routine 16.700 points. Russia’s Yulia Bravikova was second (16,600 points) and Yekaterina Selezneva third (16,450).
Yekaterina Galkina also claimed two bronze medals in the individual events: ball and clubs. As it was reported, the Belarusian also won the individual all-around gold in Berlin.
The Belarusian team consisting of Anastasia Rybakova, Maria Kotyak, Anna Gaidukevich, Anna Shvaiba, Margarita Ovadinskaya and Arina Tsitsilina picked a bronze medal in five hoops (17,950 points), losing to teams of Ukraine (18,500) and Russia (18,700).
The next event on the calendar is the World Cup in Minsk on 4-6 August. All leaders of Team Belarus will compete in the tournament.
