MINSK, 20 December (BelTA) - The issue of adding Belarus to the list of countries whose citizens have the right to apply for e-visa to enter Egypt for tourism purposes was discussed at the meeting between Belarus’ Ambassador to Egypt Sergei Rachkov and Egypt’s Minister of Tourism Yahya Rashid, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The sides discussed the state and prospects for the Belarusian-Egyptian cooperation in tourism. The parties praised a significant increase in the number of Belarusian tourists who visited Egypt in 2017, and also the growing interest of Egyptian businessmen to invest in the tourism sector of Belarus and agroecotourism in particular.
The parties agreed to facilitate tourist flows to Belarus and Egypt, and to support each other within the framework of international organizations.
