MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) – HC Yunost Minsk and HC Neman Grodno have learned their opponents for the Round of 32 of the Champions Hockey League. The draw ceremony took place in Zurich, Switzerland on 3 June, BelTA has learned.
HC Yunost Minsk will face HC Ocelari Trinec and HC Neman Grodno will take on Frolunda Indians.
Thirty-two teams will compete in the 2020-21 Champions Hockey League. The opening games have been rescheduled for 6 October. However, due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation, they can be postponed to one more month. The season will start with an immediate knockout Round of 32, which will comprise two-game, home and away, aggregate-scoring series up to the semi-finals.
