MINSK, 19 May (BelTA) – Belarusian students have won five awards at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair 2015 (Intel ISEF 2015) which took place in the USA, BelTA learned from the Minsk Oblast Institute of Education Development.
Partaking in the Intel ISEF 2015 were about 1,700 students from 75 countries. Belarus was represented by four winners of the Belarus Science and Engineering Fair in February 2015. The nationwide contest was organized by the Education Department of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee, the Minsk Oblast Institute of Education Development, the HTP Administration and Intel. This year the national contest was held for the third time.
Belarus’ team included student of Minsk Oblast State Lyceum Viktor Belevtsov, student of Slutsk secondary school No. 11 Vladislav Gadalov, student of Pinsk gymnasium No. 1 Dmitry Krivenchuk and student of the BSU lyceum Ivan Sayechnikov.
Viktor Belevtsov’s work was awarded a diploma of the scientific jury. The student of the Minsk Oblast State Lyceum also received two special prizes of Alcoa Foundation and the Society of Experimental Test Pilots.

Student of Slutsk secondary school No. 11 Vladislav Gadalov was given a special prize of the world’s largest domain name registrar GoDaddy. GoDaddy Group manages about 30 million domain names in the largest first-level domain zones.
