MINSK, 29 December (BelTA) – An information and educational center of Belarusian State University was inaugurated at the Belarusian-Chinese Friendship and Cooperation Center in Beijing, BelTA learned from the press service of the university.
The new center is designed to develop educational and cultural relations between Belarusian and Chinese higher education institutions. It will offer pre-entry training programs for Belarusian State University and other Belarusian higher education institutions to Chinese citizens. The Chinese colleagues will also enroll students into Russian language courses. Faculty staff of the Pre-University Training Department of Belarusian State University will be coordinating distance education.
The center is expected to provide more information about the educational services offered by Belarusian State University and enable the best conditions for holding joint events.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by vice rector for academic affairs Sergei Khodin and deputy dean for academic affairs of the Pre-University Training Department Alexander Zhuk.
