ZVYOZDNY GORODOK, 29 February (BelTA) - Belarusian Anastasia Lenkova, a backup crew member of the 21st visiting expedition to the International Space Station (ISS), started the examination training on the simulator of the ISS Russian Segment at the Cosmonaut Training Center on 29 February, BelTA has learned.
Speaking about her work on the ISS, she noted that she had undergone training and was ready to fulfill her duties: “We have received all necessary training and will gladly demonstrate it at the exam.”
“It feels great. Yesterday we passed the exam with flying colors, and today we are encouraged, believe in success and are ready to start working,” Anastasia Lenkova said.
The final exam of the main crew of the 21st visiting expedition to the International Space Station is taking place in the Cosmonaut Training Center.
Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, Belarus’ Marina Vasilevskaya and NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson are taking part in the training on the simulator of the Soyuz MS manned spacecraft.
The backup crew consisting of Roscosmos cosmonaut Ivan Vagner, Belarusian space flight participant Anastasia Lenkova and NASA astronaut Donald Pettit are taking part in a training on the simulator of the ISS Russian Segment.
