Belarusian Sasnovich off to good start in qualifying at Strasbourg

MINSK, 14 May (BelTA) - Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich reached the final of the qualifying tournament at Internationaux de Strasbourg in Strasbourg, France on 15-21 May 2022, BelTA has learned.

In the first qualifying match, the Belarusian, world No. 50, took a little more than an hour to Vlada Koval of Russia (373) 6-1, 6-3.

On 15 May, in the decisive match for entering the main draw, Aliaksandra Sasnovich will take on the winner of the match between Belgian Lara Salden (371) and Germany’s Lena Papadakis (349).
