MINSK, 13 February (BelTA) – Belarusian Ambassador to Romania Andrei Grinkevich met with Minister of Culture and National Identity of Romania Valer-Daniel Breaz in Bucharest on 12 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The parties discussed joint activities for the near- and medium-term. “In particular, the parties considered organizing exhibitions of paintings by Romanian artist Corneliu Baba at the National Art Museum of Belarus and Belarusian Orthodox icons at the National Museum of Art of Romania,” the press service of the Foreign Ministry informed.
The program of cooperation in the field of culture between the Culture Ministry of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Culture and National Identity of Romania was signed in Bucharest on 12 February. The document provides for developing favorable conditions for interaction, exchange of museum exhibitions promotion of direct contacts in cinematography, musical and theatrical art, between libraries of Belarus and Romania, the press service said. Ambassador Andrei Grinkevich made a presentation of the Belarusian cultural and educational potential during the signing ceremony.
