Belarusian national culture night at Bolshoi Theater in Minsk

MINSK, 12 February (BelTA) - An evening of Belarusian culture will be held at the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus on 13 February, BelTA has learned from the cultural institution.

Before the performance of the national opera "The Grey Legend", the audience will be able to take part in an interactive event, tour an exhibition of traditional Belarusian costumes and take part in workshops in wearing Namitka and Slutsk belts.

The exhibition has been put together by the Museum of Ancient Belarusian Culture at the Research Centre of Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. It will present traditional Belarusian women's costumes, which have their own unique elements in different regions of Belarus, but at the same time tell about the common cultural heritage and traditions of the Belarusian people.
