MINSK, 6 September (BelTA) – Belarusian Culture Days may be organized in Cambodia in 2017, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
On 5 September Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam Vladimir Goshin presented his credentials to His Majesty, King Norodom Sihamoni of Cambodia. During the ceremony prospects of advancing Belarus-Cambodia cooperation in political, economic, humanitarian, and cultural affairs were discussed. The sides also talked over the possibility of organizing Belarusian Culture Days in Cambodia in 2017.
Apart from that, on 6 September Vladimir Goshin presented his credentials to Vietnam President Tran Dai Quang.
The Vietnam President mentioned the high level of friendly relations that have evolved between Belarus and Vietnam over the course of history. He also noted the great potential for advancing and developing political, trade, economic, and humanitarian cooperation between the countries. The sides discussed prospects of securing persistent progress in bilateral interaction, matters concerning manufacturing cooperation in the industrial sector, matters of education, science, high technologies, and cyber security.
