According to the source, a program to encourage sales on the Belarusian market is in development. Leasing companies and banks will participate in it. Car buyers will get subsidies, said Alexander Ogorodnikov. In his words, the relevant order of the head of state has been prepared and is supposed to be enacted this year.
Alexander Ogorodnikov added that prices for Belarus-made Geely cars will be adequate taking into account the subsidies.
As for selling the bulk of Belarus-made Geely cars, the official said that most of them will be sold in Russia. “We are convinced we will sell the volumes we will make starting next year and even this year,” he noted.
