Belarusian Aryna Sabalanka rises to No.3 in WTA ranking

MINSK, 12 July (BelTA) - After the Wimbledon semifinal Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka rose one notch to become No. 3 in the WTA rankings. Now she has 6965 points, BelTA has learned.

Another Belarusian, former world’s No.1 Victoria Azarenka remained in the 14th position, with 3,845 points. Aliaksandra Sasnovich is 86th (938 points), Olga Govortsova is 124th (672).

The ATP ranking is still headed by Serb Novak Djokovic, who won his 20th Grand Slam title in Wimbledon. Belarusian Ilya Ivashka is 63rd (1,060 points), Egor Gerasimov ranks 79th (926).
