MINSK, 13 August (BelTA) – The Belarusian team came in third during the Tank Biathlon event, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Defense Ministry website.

The Tank Biathlon event was the final event of the International Army Games 2018. After results of the Tank Biathlon were summed up, the games were officially closed. Belarusian Defense Minister Andrei Ravkov took part in the closing ceremony upon the invitation of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

BelTA reported earlier that teams from 23 countries took part in the Tank Biathlon event. The International Army Games 2018 featured a total of 28 events and took place in seven countries – Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, and Russia – on 28 July – 11 August.
