Over 100 representatives of the Belarusian diaspora, French friends of Belarus, workers of the Belarusian embassy performed Belarus’ national anthem at one of Paris’ central squares Trocadero against the background of the Eiffel Tower ahead of Independence Day in Belarus. The anthem was accompanied by the Grodno Capella.

Let’s Sing the Belarusian Anthem Together campaign is held as part of the Belarusian Week in Paris. The Week includes events to mark Independence Day and familiarize the French authorities, representatives of the diplomatic corps and general public with the Belarusian history and culture. The Week is held with the participation of the Belarusian diaspora to promote strengthening of ties with compatriots living in France, the embassy said.
