MINSK, 5 February (BelTA) – Belarusian Anastasia Leikina won the first edition of the international Internet song contest Your Voice 2016, BelTA learned from the triumphant singer.

Anastasia outperformed her competitors from 29 countries and got the awards of the Internet audience and the jury. Vadim Ruzov, Anastasia Leikina’s producer, noted that Anastasia is a soulful, genuine, and moving singer, which did not stay unnoticed by the organizers of the Internet project Your Voice 2016. They invited Anastasia to represent the Czech Republic in the contest as Belarus’ entry had already been chosen, Vadim Ruzov explained.

The contestants submitted videos with them performing. All the materials were posted on the Internet and were available to users. The jury comprised singers from different countries, including winners and participants of song contests. They voted online and gave the highest number of points, 709, to the video with Anastasia Leikina singing Je Suis Malade, a song by Lara Fabian.

The organizers of the contest will write a song for Anastasia Leikina and provide her with an opportunity to shoot a music video.
