MINSK, 10 February (BelTA) – Hungary hosted the days of Belarusian culture on 9 and 10 February to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Belarus and Hungary, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Budapest.
The State Dance Company of the Republic of Belarus and Camerata vocal group performed at the top concert venues of Hungary. The first concert took place on 9 February at the Grassalkovich palace in Godollo, a summer palace of Austro-Hungarian royals.
The solemn opening of the event in Budapest was attended by Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko. The gala concert in the major Budapest concert hall Pesti Vigado was the key event of Belarus’ Days of Culture
The days of Belarusian culture and the regular cultural and humanitarian activities in both countries are held in line with the 2009 bilateral intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in education, science and culture and the cultural cooperation program signed between the Belarusian Culture Ministry and the Ministry of Human Resources of Hungary in Minsk in 2016.
The days of Belarusian culture have been arranged by the Belarusian Culture Ministry and the Ministry of Human Resources of Hungary together with the Belarusian Embassy in Hungary.
