MINSK, 14 January (BelTA) – Team Belarus has finished second in the women 4x6km relay in Ruhpolding that hosts BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 5, BelTA has learned.
Some replacements were made in the Belarusian team before the relay, with Irina Krivko joining her more experienced fellow athletes Nadezhda Skardino, Nadezhda Pisareva and Darya Domracheva. The Belarusian team had no penalty loops and missed six targets.
The team from the Czech Republic came first. The team consisted of Eva Puskarcikova, Gabriela Soukalova, Jitka Landova, and Veronika Vitkova. They had no penalty loops, but missed nine targets.
Team Germany (Franziska Preuss, Franziska Hildebrand, Vanessa Hinz and Laura Dahlmeier) took bronze. They ran one penalty loop and missed six targets.
