MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) – Maria Magilnaya of Belarus has won the 10th international children’s music festival in Serbia, BelTA learned from the Embassy of Belarus in Serbia.
Partaking in the festival were representatives of 13 countries: Belarus, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Israel, Latvia, Malta, Macedonia, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro. Young singer from Mogilev Maria Magilnaya claimed the Grand Prix of the 10th international children’s music festival which completed with a gala concert in Novi Sad, the capital of the province of Vojvodina, on 21 November.
Belarus was also presented in Serbia by Director of the international festival of arts Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk, President of the World Association of Festivals (WAF) Alexander Sidorenko (President of the jury) and head of the Natalie pop studio (Minsk, ), composer, producer, WAF member Natalia Skopets (member of the jury).
The closing ceremony of the festival was attended by representatives of the Culture Ministry of the capital of Serbia’s Vojvodina and the Embassy of Belarus in Serbia.
