MINSK, 10 May (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes won 31 medals at the World Aerial Sports Championships in Moscow, BelTA learned from head coach of the team Irina Chimbur.
The tournament was held in Sport and Artistic nominations in a number of disciplines.
Taking part in the competitions were more than 400 athletes from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland, Italy, Poland, Estonia, Canada and other countries.
The Belarusian team comprised 28 athletes from Grodno, Minsk and Kalinkovichi.
Aerial acrobatics is a new sport in Belarus. This sport is developed by Sport Action (Grodno), the pop and circus ensemble Romantiki by MAZ Culture Center and Mars fitness studio from Kalinkovichi.
