Belarus win more medals at IDF World Youth Championship in Türkiye

MINSK, 4 November (BelTA) – Belarusians are competing in the 2024 IDF World Youth Championship in Draughts-64, BelTA has learned. 

Belarusians clinched six medals in the rapid event. Vikrotyia Nikalayeva clinched the champion title. Silver medals went to Uladzislau Valiuk and Pavel Boki. Bronze medals were collected by Yevgeniya Shved, Milana Lapchuk and Artsiom Tsikhanau.

Earlier, Belarusians won five medals in the blitz event. Yevgeniya Shved secured gold. Silver medals went to Uladzislau Valiuk and Ivan Nevar. Bronze medals went to Vikrotyia Nikalayeva and Mark Akulovich.

The tournament featured 170 players from 14 countries.
